DESCRIPTION:The Ida B. Wells Symposia\, a series of talks sponsored by the Center for the Study of the American South\, is holding a series of events during the month of October. \nOn October 27th at 6pm\, “Teaching with the ‘Light of Truth’ in the K-12 Classroom” will include a panel discussion sharing challenges and strategies for teaching “hard history.” SoE faculty member Brian Gibbs will be one of the presenters.
