Ashley Woolweaver joined the School of Education in 2020 after receiving her Masters degree in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration from Penn State University. Ashley has worked with numerous local and state agencies including the Colorado Department of Corrections where she served as a Professional Research Assistant, aiding with large scale research projects with inmates, and with Penn State University as a Data/Administrative Assistant for a team that evaluated the effectiveness of Juvenile Justice programming. Through her personal and professional experiences Ashley developed a passion for prevention and systemic social change. She believes that by supporting and investing in youth and families we can not only improve their quality of life but also interrupt the pathways into the justice system, helping them to lead healthy and meaningful lives.
