Family Perspectives on Exceptionality
Carol W. Jordan has spent more than 20 years teaching in a variety of inclusive classrooms. In 2007, she co-founded a not-for-profit inclusive school. For the past twelve years she operated and taught in this school with fully inclusive early childhood and elementary programs. These programs served a range of diverse children with and without disabilities and their families while also serving as a model of inclusive education for students from local colleges and universities. She has also shared her commitment to inclusive communities by teaching adult learners in undergraduate and graduate programs at local colleges and universities for more than a decade.
