Derek Creason is an educational professional and consultant dedicated to innovation through collaboration. Derek has worked in a variety of educational environments and is particularly interested in evaluating the impact of technology on learning. As the Director of the CCEE, his responsibilities include overseeing efforts to explore innovative learning approaches through small and large-scale collaboration between K-12 and post-secondary educators This includes creating and executing professional development workshops for teaching professionals, designing curriculum, and instructing classes. Further, Derek collaborates with staff to build curricular experiences using emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality and 3D printing.
