At this time of year, we take an opportunity to thank our donors who provide critical philanthropic support to the School of Education. This support is vital to maintaining and expanding the work of our School and helping us extend our reach to educators and classrooms across North Carolina and beyond. The combination of increased private funding, careful spending, vigilant stewardship of our resources and bold initiatives continues to keep us healthy during these challenging times.
Donor contributions in this past year has enabled us to fund student scholarships; recruit an outstanding group of new faculty; provide travel funds for our graduate students to attend and present at national conferences; develop collaborative partnerships with some of our state’s neediest schools and children; provide supplemental funding for our academic programs; support events and activities that strengthen alumni ties with the School; and much more.
