Undergraduate Admissions
Teaching Fellows
The N.C. Teaching Fellows program is designed to encourage students to pursue teaching careers in the high-need areas of science, mathematics and special education.
As a N.C. Teaching Fellow, students will receive up to $8,250 a year in forgivable loans for a commitment to serve as a science, mathematics, or special education teacher.
Veterans & Active Military
The UNC School of Education proudly supports veterans and active-duty military students, as well as those affiliated through the National Guard, Reserves, ROTC, and military families.
Through admissions deferments, in-state tuition opportunities, and a range of on-campus resources, the School is committed to helping these students pursue a meaningful career in continued public service.
UNC School of Education Honors Program
The School of Education Honors Program provides motivated undergraduate students in the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program or Human and Organizational Leadership Development (HOLD) program with the opportunity to deepen their learning through independent research, close faculty mentorship, and the completion of an honors thesis.
