The 2026 “Critical Conversations in Qualitative Research Virtual Speaker Series” is a collaboration between the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Education’s #UNCQual program, the University of Alabama College of Education’s #UAQual program, and Baylor University School of Education #BaylorQual program.
The first speaker for this year’s series is Dr. Sophia Rodriguez of New York University, whose talk is titled “Qualitative inquiry in the current moment: Reflections on ethnography and fieldwork in schools and communities, and equity for immigrant youth” and scheduled for Thursday, February 5th, 4:00-5:30pm Eastern.
