Overview
Dorentina is an educator and researcher with a strong focus on innovative learning and language development. Dorentina holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Prishtina in Kosovo, where she was recognized with the KETNET award for her contributions to language teaching. She continued her academic journey with a fully funded Erasmus+ and DAAD scholarship at the University of Vechta in Germany, exploring organizational leadership and foreign languages. Later, she earned a Master’s in educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received the prestigious Moise A. Khayrallah Innovation Fellowship Award and became a COIL Fellow.
Currently, she serves as a Research Assistant at the Early Learning Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In this capacity, she leverages her expertise in research administration and project management. Furthermore, Dorentina is actively engaged in research at MIT and serves as an instructor in the Duke Continuing Studies Program. Her instructional portfolio encompasses a range of courses, including AI and Machine Learning, Creative Writing with AI, Technology and Law, Leading with Character, and The Science Behind Smart Cities.
