Background

Rob Lucas is a senior instructional designer in Digital and Lifelong Learning (DLL) at UNC-Chapel Hill who provides consultation to the UNC School of Education, especially related to online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses and programs. At DLL, he also works to develop online courses and modules, and he is an adjunct instructor in the UNC School of Education’s MEITE program. Rob began his career as a sixth-grade social studies teacher in eastern North Carolina. More recently, he has worked as a history curriculum designer in the educational technology industry and as a faculty member at East Carolina University. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and piano as well as biking and hiking around the Triangle.
