About the Superintendent License
The Ed.D. program leads to North Carolina licensure as a superintendent. Once you have completed the Ed.D. program requirements and portfolio artifacts, you will be eligible to apply for a School Administrator – Superintendent License, adding it to your current Professional Educator’s Continuing License.
A North Carolina School Administrator – Superintendent License falls under the requirements for School-Based Administrators and Special Services Personnel.
