Admissions Criteria
Prospective qualitative studies certificate candidates must apply through the UNC Graduate School and provide the following in their application:
- A writing sample focused on or featuring qualitative research methods (e.g., an assignment from a qualitative course; a qualitative research-focused conference proposal; an in-progress or published manuscript);
- A list of the graduate-level qualitative research courses taken (including current courses);
- An up-to-date CV.
