
North Carolina Teaching Fellows
The North Carolina Teaching Fellows program supports students committed to teaching in high-need areas such as science, mathematics, special education, and elementary education. Fellows receive up to $5,000 per semester in forgivable loans and benefit from a vibrant cohort experience, professional development, and experiential learning opportunities.

Fellows for Inclusive Excellence
The Fellows for Inclusive Excellence program supports future educators committed to making a difference in North Carolina’s rural, Title 1 schools. Selected MAT students complete their student teaching in Person County, Chatham County, or at Carolina Community Academy, and receive funding that covers tuition, fees, and travel. After graduation, Fellows may continue teaching in these schools and receive increasing annual stipends for up to four years.

Tricontinental Teacher Training (TTT) Exchange Program
Tricontinental Teacher Training (TTT) is an exchange program for pre-service teachers and soon-to-be pre-service teachers at the UNC School of Education to engage with pre-service teachers at the University of Hamburg (Germany) and the University of Education, Winneba (Ghana).
