Overview

Holly Rogan serves as the Research Accounts Manager for the School of Education’s finance team. As a University of North Carolina alumna, she possesses a deep-rooted connection to the institution. Her diverse background spans accounting and finance, encompassing roles in private industry, the Wake County Public School System and even teaching abroad in Seville, Spain.  Before returning to Carolina, she worked as a Fraud Investigator at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, auditing and investigating unemployment fraud cases. With over fifteen years of experience in investigative, financial, accounting, and administrative roles, she excels in data analysis, auditing, financial reporting, and the management of accounts payable and receivable. When she’s not diving into financial reports, you’ll find her exploring the world of languages and culture. Her adventures have taken her to places throughout Europe, adding to her love for understanding and connecting with diverse people and traditions. Despite her career achievements, her most cherished role is that of a devoted mother to her toddler son, a loving wife, and a proud dog-mom to her Belgian Malinois.
