Requirements for the Superintendent License
Candidates must hold an active Principal License by the time they complete and apply for the Ed.D. Superintendent licenses.
If a program completer does not hold an active Principal License, they are eligible to apply to the Ed.D. program; however, they must sign a waiver indicating that they understand they are not eligible for the licenses — Principal or Superintendent — upon completion. Consult the program director and the licensure manager for more information about this option.
