Overview

Tammy Cox leads finance and operations for the School of Education, which also includes oversight of human resources and IT. Prior to joining the School in 2022, Cox served as Executive Associate Dean at the UNC School of Information and Library Science, where she spent more than 12 years in leadership roles. Before that, she served in finance leadership roles, including CFO, at NC State University, the NC State Alumni Association, and North Carolina Sea Grant. Cox is an adjunct instructor at the UNC School of Information and Library Science and has taught courses in project management.
