The Ed.D. concentration in K–12 Leadership leads to North Carolina Superintendent Licensure through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. To be eligible for this license, candidates must hold an active North Carolina Principal License at the time they complete the program and apply for licensure.
LicensureThe Ed.D. concentration in K–12 Leadership is fully accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and approved by the North Carolina State Board of Education and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
