Teaching Fellows

The N.C. Teaching Fellows program is designed to encourage students to pursue teaching careers in the high-need areas of science, mathematics and special education.

As a N.C. Teaching Fellow, students will receive up to $8,250 a year in forgivable loans for a commitment to serve as a science, mathematics, or special education teacher.

Vetrans & Active Military

The UNC School of Education proudly supports veterans and active-duty military students, as well as those affiliated through the National Guard, Reserves, ROTC, and military families.

Through admissions deferments, in-state tuition opportunities, and a range of on-campus resources, the School is committed to helping these students pursue a meaningful career in continued public service.
