Expectations for Mentees
- Work with your mentor to outline at least three (3) key goals/activities for the year that will advance or support your career aspirations
- Meet with your mentor — in person, by Zoom/Facetime, by phone — at least two times during the fall semester and two times during the spring semester
- Communicate clearly and routinely about your career goals and mentorship needs with your mentor
- Be willing to listen, learn, and accept feedback
- Seek out opportunities for growth/professional/personal development; remember, this is not a place to request job placement from your mentor
- Complete a brief evaluation form at the end of the program
Expectations for Mentors

- Make accommodations to be available by phone/email/text — your preference — for your mentee
- Make every effort to provide the mentee with the support and/or resources they ask for or need
- Provide constructive feedback to your mentee
- Maintain confidentiality
- Complete a brief evaluation form at the end of the program
