Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (MEITE)
An innovative, professional-degree program, MEITE blends a personalized program of study with a site-based internship to prepare you for a successful career in educational innovation and technology. You will have opportunities to design your own venture, build prototypes, and connect with established edupreneurs and distinguished faculty.
The MEITE program actively engages in innovative educational and education-adjacent spaces, though it is not a teacher or administrative licensure program. Graduates who complete the “Learning Engineer” concentration are eligible to apply for an Instructional Technology Specialist license from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
