Getting Started

Each graduate program has specific admission requirements. Refer to your individual program’s application checklist in the Academic Programs section.

Keep the following in mind:

  • Deadlines are firm There are no exceptions to the deadlines.  
    • You must submit all application materials, including letters of recommendation and official test scores (if required), by the application deadline.
    • You must match test scores, if required, to your application by the application deadline. Your application must be submitted before matching may begin. Matching can take up to two weeks.
  • You must submit all materials electronically.
  • We will not review incomplete applications.

You will be eligible to apply for School of Education scholarships, fellowships, and awards after you have been accepted to a School of Education graduate program. Once accepted, you have until the deadline posted to apply for these awards. For deadlines and more information see How to Apply for School of Education Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards.

Deadlines for All Graduate Programs

Dec. 10 Fellowship Deadline

Individual academic programs may choose to nominate some applicants for Graduate School fellowships. Complete your application by December 10 to be considered for these. Additional opportunities for funding are available for applicants who complete their scholarship application by the deadline.
